Peter Vorbeck, together with Manuel Schupp, is one of the founders of ORANGE BLU building solutions and since 2015 managing partner. He studied architecture and urban design at the University of Stuttgart. During his studies in 1986 he joined Zinsmeister & Scheffler Architects in Stuttgart and worked on several projects and competitions.
After his diploma in 1988 he continued working for the firm taking on the project management for large-scale projects, such as the new construction for Kleemann. 1991-92 Peter started teaching residential architecture under Professor Faller at the Institute for Building Design. In 1994 he was entrusted with the establishment of a branch office of Zinsmeister & Scheffler in Magdeburg. After his appointment in into the BDA (Association of German Architects) Peter Vorbeck became partner at Zinsmeister, Scheffler & Partner in 1996. Since 2004 he is running the office under the new name zsp architekten | peter vorbeck, as sole-owner together with his experienced team.
In 2006 Peter Vobeck took on the professorship for cost management in the master’s program at the University of Technology in Stuttgart. After working on international projects for the trade association “ena” (european network architecture) he was appointed to the their managing board in 2008. Significant projects include the National Library in Leipzig, the restoration of the House of Representatives in Stuttgart, as well as the Carl Eugen Building at the Stuttgart Stock Exchange, the New Trade Fair in Karlsruhe and the expansion of the Staatsgalerie in Stuttgart.
