Thomas Kohler is, since 2015, a managing director of ORANGE BLU building solutions. Here he is responsible for planning coordination and quality control. Since 2002 he has been a project manager at zsp architekten where he was also responsible for the office management.
After graduating from the University of Stuttgart in 1992, he joined the office of Klein and Breucha, Stuttgart / Berlin and thereafter HFR Architekten in Ludwigsburg. To the buildings completed under his supervision includes the senior citizens centre BruderhausDiakonie in Gönningen, alterations to the State Parliamentary Offices in Stuttgart, a new sports hall and extensions to the Apostelgymnasium high school in Cologne, the art gallery of the Fröhlich Foundation, renovation and conversion of the Lecture Hall Complex at the University of Tübingen, an extension to the Higher Regional Court in Stuttgart, and extensions to the headquarters of the Unfallkasse Baden-Württemberg in Karlsruhe.
Presently he is leading restoration and preservation work on the heritage-protected Opera House Stuttgart.
